yea that's exactly why misses are punishing it wouldn't really matter if pop'n was a high total game

alongside iidx & gitadora drums, pop'n has a legitimate claim to being the hardest bemani game

especially compared to iidx, pop'n's spicy gauge punishes misses a lot more than EC/NC gauges do on high 12s
