Pub crawls may be all the rage, I truly believe there could be an immense market for library crawls, bakery crawls, museum crawls, café crawls, bookstore crawls, and greenhouse crawls.

HOLY SHIT. They found the genes for fibromyalgia - and it's *not* autoimmune, it's the central nervous system. It's very cool to see some progress made on the thing that's ruined my life since late teenage years!
Medical Republic: 'Fibromyalgia finally gets a genetic fingerprint'

'Additionally, certain risk loci overlapped with long covid (BPTF) and ME/CFS (OLFM4, RABGAP1L/GPR52), two poorly characterised disorders, albeit with different lead variants.'

Fibromyalgia finally gets a genetic fingerprint - Medical Republic
A massive global study links the chronic pain condition to 26 genes associated with brain signalling, marking a turning point in understanding its biological roots.

OVER A MILLION USERS

DISCUSS SUICIDE WITH CHATGPT

EVERY *WEEK*

what the fuck are we DOING here
Panera’s moderately caffeinated lemonade was loosely associated with 2 deaths before it was taken off market.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.

Remember they were already using marginalized people as a shield for justifying AI's use in replacing workers, claiming disabled people are incapable of doing work themselves and need AI to function.
Now that Rich-Wealthy White Straight Men money is vanishing, they'll target everyone else too.
Keep an eye out!

As AI winds down while VC money runs out, they're going to continue following the same failed playbook Web3 used. They'll redirect the focus from big money (companies, entrepreneurs) to marginalized communities.

Prepare to see AI re-spun as a tool to empower women/POC/LGBT.

Pro tip: you don't have to be an expert in finding books on your own. You have unlimited, free access to book experts at your library. and librarians LOVE being asked for help. It feeds their souls. You're doing them a solid. Don't hesitate. LIBRARIANS ARE ON YOUR SIDE.
I mean, I get it if they're tired and just wanna get to sleep and don't know how to find good books. But it's such a great time to chat to your kid about what's happened during their day, too. AND SNUGGLES!

leave your leaves! good for bugs! good for soil! good for trees! good for plants! good for you! help the ecosystem be the ecosystem! the idea that it "looks bad" to have leaves on the ground is based on literally nothing, just clear them from walkways!
As we enter fall, it's so important that we tell everyone to leave those leaves! Mads Torres designed a poster to help us.

Lightning bugs are one of the most charismatic insects we've got. Actions we take to protect them protects many insects!

Get some to hang in your neighborhood!
