The Steps (Desktop Gmail):
Go to Settings (gear icon) > See all settings.
In the General tab, scroll to "Smart features and personalization."
Uncheck the box.
Click "Manage Workspace smart feature settings" below it & toggle that OFF too!
Click Save Changes at the bottom.
Applies to the app too.
Go to Settings (gear icon) > See all settings.

Oh, I don't knock it, believe me. Rather I believe it will be seen as a positive acknowledgement of the regional monetary divide in the UK. I perhaps should have pointed that out but space didn't allow it.

It's not only them. At our Memorial yesterday the Greens and Lib Dems were not mentioned but Reform and the Tories were. We're a Lib Dem constituency. This propaganda is aimed at bolstering their own numbers and a perceived public perception.

Anecdotally I found this is true. On public transport, in cafes and pubs. These acts of selfishness are becoming more common. But why?
