don’t patronize students. don’t patronize People of Color. don’t call a Black Latina emotional for speaking truth. calling us emotional is how you hide your bigotry behind “professionalism.” our emotions aren’t the problem. your inability to handle them is. our fear is real. our voices matter.

we’re not emotional despite the system. we’re emotional because of it. because we see and live what it does, every day. stop gaslighting students into silence. we don’t need calm. we need change.

this isn’t just about one white man in a suit. it’s about a system that rewards cruelty, masks violence as policy, and tells us to “stay calm” while it steals futures. we need leaders who fight for students—not ones who protect the systems that harm them.

don’t sit across from me and say it’s “not that bad” when the system you praise is the one breaking our bodies, funding our education just to rip it away, and sending ICE to ppl’s doors.

and you know what? i am. because i’m tired. tired of ppl minimizing state violence. tired of students being framed as disposable.

tired of being told their fear is irrational while ppl are getting kidnapped by this country. ICE is not a metaphor. it’s a threat.

Of course 📞 & internet are not working properly. Specially for those that don’t have generators -can’t charge their 📞. Again, this is NOT the first time we experience this & for sure will not be the last time. Extremely frustrating, disheartening & disappointing (not to mention dangerous for some)
