Just working on a section about Yersinia pestis–infected fleas, plague symptoms, and a ship full of dead sailors crashing into Bergen harbour in 1349, and it's quite put me off my Christmas cake! (NB Yersinia pestis should be in italics but Bluesky doesn't do italics 🤨.)

I've just copy-edited an eye-opening book on US prosperity-gospel churches and based on the content of that l think that, unfortunately, there will be plenty of takers for tickets and they'll see their ability to pay as an indication of Divine approval 🙁.
