6 months of the year we are cold, with 5 months of ice and snow. The occasional icestorm takes down trees and cuts off power, sometimes for days.

Thank you, Pete. We didn't lose power, though I couldn't sleep,was up and dressed all night in case we had to run the generator. We moved one of the vehicles to near the barn. No trees fell near it,but our other vehicle is blocked in.

One of my favourite flowers. Nasturtium. This one is overwintering in my house. Neon bright flowers and bug resistant too.
