I adore the original Splitgate, but couldn't get into the sequel due to the removal of map control mechanics and even starts. This is a sad day 🙁
On June 6, 2025, 1047 Games launched Splitgate 2. Now, less than two months later, the developer is about to “unlaunch” it, along with taking Splitgate 1 offline and laying off more 1047 Games employees.
