It's been a while since I've driven in SF. The city is now filled with driverless robot taxis. It's a bit unsettling, but my local friend said she prefers them, and so far, no fatalities.

Pamblo Cheif of the Nisenan here in Nevada City, CA. He is honored at the Uba Seo. 15 years after CA became a state in 1850 85% of the Indigenous CA Tribes were eliminated, but 99% of the Nisenan were. In 1950, the federal government refused to recognize them as a Tribe. They are still here!

I am so happy to have my older chicks back. I had spoken the words out loud. "I have too many chicks", and the wild heard me. Hawk attacks that left me confused at first until i saw them in action.

We went to the protest march late in Grass Valley, CA, but Rose let us know that there had been over 1000 people earlier that day. Mom got plenty of honks waving her pink gloves.
