My son is autistic and I considered writing a column about Trump's Monday announcement. Instead, I figured it was better to just ask you all. What did you think? Tell USA TODAY Opinion in our latest reader ask. I'd appreciate any help spreading it around. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...

The Trump administration has no plan for figuring out which babies will be citizens if birthright goes away. But it’s clear to me. Spoiler alert: They’re not going to check white babies. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Is it just me or does Trump want to racially profile us at birth? Seems like it. | Opinion
How do you think Trump and his Republican enablers expect to enforce the removal of birthright citizenship from the U.S. Constitution?
www.usatoday.com

Everyone check on your Republican loved ones. They’re having a tough time.

I'm worried about Republicans. Feels like the job is too hard for them. | Opinion
Republicans have Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court. So why are they flailing?

Let see if my mentions here are different what I’m sure my Twitter feeds looks like. Republicans made a mistake when they got bored with racism and transphobia. I wrote words.

www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
You think Republicans realize they've started hurting the wrong people? | Opinion
Trump's latest political mistake is an attempt to exsanguinate the U.S. Department of Education, which hurls money at Republican states.

We can all see that Elon Musk is the moment. So USA TODAY Opinion decided to ask readers if Musk is doing too much or if they're good with it. Help me spread this and please feel free to add your vote.
www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Do you think Elon Musk has too much power in our government? Tell us. | Opinion
Elon Musk is getting as much coverage as President Donald Trump gets. Is the tech billionaire too powerful and influential in our government?

We posted this today for USA TODAY Opinion, asking readers for thoughts on DEI. I'm anticipating a few responses in full support of what Trump is doing, and that's good. But this is your chance to be vocal and help me. Plus, I'm proud of my tagline. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Do you care about DEI when it comes to where you spend your money? Tell us. | Opinion
Trump can't stop talking about it. Our columnists can't stop writing about it. Now we want you to tell us: What do you think about DEI?

Do you want to help me sort something out? See if you want to add your voice to our USA TODAY Opinion reader forum on free speech. Send in your comments. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Tell us what free speech means to you at a time when that's up for debate | Opinion
Political debate and conversation have increased online over the years. So has the debate over censorship and free speech. Tell us about it.

People who never really used TikTok don’t realize the loss it would for social media innovation or engagement if we lose it permanently. Like imagine if Instagram was worth a shit or if YouTube had any idea how to create a community environment.

I’m sure Zuckerberg will save us, though. Smh.

One of the classic struggles parents now face is when and if to let their kids have screens and get on social media. So, USA TODAY Opinion is asking how you handle that. We'll be posting some of the responses.
www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Parents, do you limit access to social media and technology or let it fly? Tell us. | Opinion
Technology is an increased concern for parents. So we're asking you for advice on raising children in a world of iPads and TikTok.

If you think banning TikTok will save our data….lol. So I wrote about it. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Sure, let's ban TikTok and pretend our data will magically be safe. Smh. | Opinion
You realize that getting rid of TikTok won't change the fact that it's too late to start caring about our privacy, right?

I need your help. USA TODAY Opinion is launching a new weekly feature that depends on reader submissions. A sort of revamped Letter to the Editor. (I’m one of the editors, btw). Can you spread the word? Maybe take part? Our first question is a doozy. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...

I finally just took Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads off my phone. I have to keep some of them for work on my computer but Zuckerberg can join Musk and get lost. Remember journalists, social media is largely useless…so find your own peace and enjoyment with it.

I had like a three hour conversation with @sarapequeno.bsky.social without doing the GenX trauma dump we’re known for. That’s a win.

The thing nobody tells you about Fridays is that editors spend it shredding through articles or columns to sort the weekend lineups. It can be a lift but at least I have leftover pizza.
