An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about how Jane Doe - an Epstein survivor - just sued the Bank of New York Mellon for funding Epstein and failing to file a Suspicious Activity Report. A Mellon heir is the one who gave $130M to pay the troops. Seems bribey to me.

They just tear-gassed us. They tried to run us over in a van holding a peaceful protester. They shot us with pepper balls. They dragged another protester into the facility.
moments ago, ice agents again came out of the broadview detention/“professing” facility to escort a silver suv out of the lot.

one of the agents picked up and threw congressional candidate kat abughazaleh to the ground.

There is no room for truth or facts in Donald Trump's self-created fictional reality.

And no room for asking him about all these contradictions in today's feckless press corp.

I’ve had a license to practice law for 36 years and I am morally certain that I’ve never met a lawyer who couldn’t truthfully, emphatically, and categorically deny ever having counseled anyone to say “fuck you” to a court.
SCHIFF: Did you suggest telling the courts 'fuck you' in any manner?

BOVE: I don't recall

SCHIFF: You just don't remember that

Some people think this is an exaggeration but I will say that if I were HHS Secretary and my goal were to kill as many children as possible, it would be difficult to distinguish the actions I would take from those that Kennedy has taken.

This is Senator Jim Banks from Indiana. No need to tell you he’s a Republican—it’s clear by the cruel disdain he shows his own constituent who was laid off.

Note: he waits until the door’s about to close before telling him he deserved it & calling him a “clown.”

He’s not just cruel—he’s a coward.

As the maternal mortality rate dropped nationally, it rose in Texas by 33%.

As Trump orders federal employees back into the office 5 days a week — "I don’t think you can work from home" — workers note that he is spending an awful lot of time at Mar-a-Lago, signing EOs, holding a press conference.

In other words, he's working from home.

“It’s about who’s making the rules,” one federal worker said of the president ordering employees back to the office even as he’s spent nearly every weekend in Florida.

Trump: Gutting National Parks—And Hiding the Evidence

National parks hit 331M visits, but Trump officials don’t want you to know. A leaked memo bans the Park Service from promoting the numbers—while firing rangers, closing visitor centers, and cutting safety.

This won’t go well—we love our parks.
