Generally floundering. Yogi, knitter, walker, sci fi nerd, occasionally sweary, Scottish, retired engineer, frequent user of the block button, rehomed Elsie the German Shepherd. She/her
Checked out the info on knee replacements later too as one of my "ladies" had one done.
And now I will go off on a rant about some of us having nvq level yoga teaching qualifications and some having watched a few videos or went to ibiza for a week's training holiday.

Since I believe there is a risk of the replacement joint popping out if you do certain movements, thank goodness someone had the foresight to write this.
*there was a rehab nurse on one of my yoga training modules & the tutor asked her to give us her expertise, the engineer in me was also fascinated

Massive oversimplification of the topic, but I also get the joke.

Lots of things, things that don't quite go together but don't clash either, like a dunelm advert.

I've moved lots of it onto a shelf in the utility so Elsie doesn't accidentally break the floor standing glass and ceramics.

No it's fine, the locals I interact with ask me if I'm having a nice holiday as I no longer sound native - been away for 46 years, but really enjoying reconnecting with the area now I can spend my time as I want to. It is a beautiful part of the country.

I've been picking dozens and dozens of them off the slimy dead leaves I've been clearing out of the garden. We didn't see a lot of greenfly this year so maybe they haven't had enough food until now to breed. All relocated ba k into sheltered bits of the garden.

Thanks for that, I had wondered if my squarish head was due to that. Won't be shaving my head any time soon, I doubt it would look stylish.

Still have one.

WTF! Good on the bus driver, there are good people around

I'm originally from Galashiels and come up to check on my mum who's in residential care in the area, so it's not really a holiday, but I will be meeting up with friends and it's a lovely area so I enjoy a bit of a break.

Yes, similar, I'm staying near Melrose and on a farm and like at home, there's no street lighting so when the sun goes down, that's it. The 200 mile difference is about 20 minutes difference

Only in the Borders, but it's far enough north of home for it to be noticeable

She's used to the travel but is on alert as this is new territory. She'll settle properly tomorrow.

Any relation to being a forceps birth?

Same, booked £96. At least I found somewhere local, last year I had to travel a bit to get a private one.

As all of mine have taught me, the energy used in a walk is a different energy from play and they come out of different tanks.
