Xenoblade Chronicles. Even on the Wii it managed to amaze me

Day 19: Scariest game you ever played

Alone in the Dark, though I didn't get far in it. I tried playing it in the 90'd but it was too scary for me as a kid.

Day 18: Worst game you ever played

Xena: Warrior Princess for Game Boy. Tried this recently, it's just awful. The developers didn't get the rights to many elements from the series, so there is almost nothing 'Xena' in it. Also, she gets beaten up by random bunnies running around...

Day 17: Game that's underrated.

Avernum: Escape from the Pit. Indie RPG: long story and interesting worldbuilding. Great game

Skyrim, definitely. Played it for so many hours, and with different characters too.

Day 16: Game made outside of the US

Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2. It's made by a Belgian game company

Day 14: Game you've put 100+ hours into.

Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii

Day 13: Game with fantastic writing.

The Dragon Age Franchise.

Day 12: Game that makes you laugh out loud:

The Darkside Detective. A great point-and-click game with a lot of humor.
November 15, 2025 at 12:20 AM
Day 11: Games that make you think about life.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas (Haven't played the others). The horror of what a nuclear war could look like.
November 14, 2025 at 2:23 AM
Day 10: Game that is overrated.

Fortnite in my opinion. Fun game but not worth all the hype surrounding it.
November 13, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Day 9: Game you're most anticipating:

The Elder Scrolls VI, like a lot of gamers. I'll probably be in my 80s when this game is released...

Rereading Black Hole by Charles Burns. I read it when it came out & was enchanted by the black and white artwork. I visited an exhibition with his art not long after reading it. He's a fantastic artist. It's a disturbing story that combines the familiarity of being a teenager with horror. A classic.

Day 8: Game that is arcade only.

Puzzle Bobble. I remember playing this on arcade machines back in the 90s/ early 2000s. Addictive little game. #gamesky

Day 7: Game with Zombies

I'm going to go with Minecraft, which has a zombie mob. I had to think about this for a moment. I'm not particularly into horror or zombies, so I usually don't play that genre. I've played a lot of single-player Minecraft over the years, however, so this will be my pick.

Day 6: Game that tugs on your heartstrings.

Dragon Age: Origins. Great narrative and characters, and oh, the origin stories 👌 A masterpiece. #gamesky
