Actor, writer, and recalcitrant roaming the world's most famous anarchistic jurisdiction in search of a recently missing identity.

We have all earned a much-needed respite from the approaching chaos.

But the true task lies ahead and it’s up to all of us to recoup our strength and spirit, to reorganize and to fight the good fight as long as we are able in whatever way we can.
Remember: fascism thrives on apathy.

The autocrats want you to tune out. They want to overwhelm you. They want you to give up.

Don’t give them want they want.

Stay in this fight. Remain vigilant. And let’s keep building.
Unpopular opinion reboot:

It's time for folks to post on Twitter.

If engaging here is more comfortable, post on both but only engage here.

But post there, too. The fight is over there.

I think y'all should be regularly posting on Twitter, too.

This is all a good reminder that, “no help, no votes until the criminal conduct stops” is neither a big ask nor a politically perilous one.

There should be absolutely zero budget negotiations with the republicans until DOGE is completely shut down.

Why would you negotiate any legislation with people who are illegally cutting previously funded legislation?
February 6, 2025 at 3:42 AM
Where the fuck are the injunctions?

How are there not 100's of lawsuits filed against the DOGE breach?

Why is this not the top headline/story everywhere?

What are letters demanding a hearing going to accomplish?

When is a leader going to emerge to resist?

Who is going to fight back?
February 6, 2025 at 2:08 AM
If we're all standing around waiting for the #MAGA and #DOGE criminals to announce "This is a robbery!" before offering real, organized resistance, that's not how this works.

They're breaking the law right in front of us, people need to rise up now or this game is over before it even started.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

Andy Biggs helped plan January 6, according to Ali Alexander.

He should be in federal prison, probably for the rest of his natural life.

But Merrick Garland had to play politics first, so instead tens of millions of workers will lose all safety protections at work.

That the size of it, basically?

The plan is for Musk to illegally gain access to our payment systems to illegally cut spending programs they will use to "pay" for their billionaire tax cut all while using tariffs as the shiny object to distract.

It's literally Die Hard, but instead of Nakatomi Tower, they're robbing the Treasury.
February 3, 2025 at 12:55 AM
⚠️The men carrying out Musk's coup on our payment infrastructure are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran.

Washington is full of rule-following valedictorians who were inspired by the West Wing and did Model UN and moot court and studied their heroes and who believe in using government to help people.

That's nice, but you need to learn how to swing on the illiterate bullies who steal lunch money.

This is actually a great history lesson: we always have been.
Each time I have sat down to write something since the election, I am bothered by this recurring phrase that I simply cannot get out of my head.

So, I am going to just say it out loud: we are on our own.
