Easy to see why everyone likes this one. An awesome depiction of social anxiety coupled with a really nice story about a high school band. The Japanese is really easy in this one! Though sometimes the dialogue is really fast lol

Anime #6 - Vinland Saga (Season 1)
the politics were a bit hard to follow in Japanese so I was left wanting more Thorfinn and less of the other characters but I liked some of the plot threads well enough. Might save Season 2 for a bit later, I need to get better for this one

300 hours benchmark!! I've been watching a lot of different stuff lately and I've played about 15 hours of Ni No Kuni. I've also started mining words and I've mined about 100 so far. My total mature word count is also now over 1000!

I have many thoughts about this game but it is really damn good like 90% of the time. This is legitimately one of the most demanding video games I have ever seen reach a mass audience. It is actually extremely difficult by most game standards, and I really respect that

fucking did it, Kaishi 1.5k all cards seen. Took me almost 6 months at 10 cards a day. The deck is a small part of the language in the long run but I am so fucking proud of myself for sticking with it and getting through the entire thing!!!

Mostly tried this as a means to make sure my OCR tools were working, so I played through normal on both characters reading as much dialogue as I could. Didn't take too long, the textboxes auto advance so it wasn't great for mining. But I did do it!

I've tried three or four times to take on this deck over the past few years, I've wanted to resume study ever since I fell off after college. To be at the bottom of the deck feels so good and represents a huge base of vocab!! I guarantee I know more kanji now than I ever did before
