When I used to visit my elderly Aunt in the home she’d say Oh dear you are fat but at least you’ve not let yourself go. But she always made it sound as if my demise was imminent. I’m sure she’d have had something equally as rude for Madonna

You definitely do I fell in the bedroom on Wednesday couldn’t get up had to phone my granddaughter. Here I sit bruised and battered doing little jobs in the house which seem like huge tasks

I often wonder about that myself I think the real me disappeared when I became very ill but has yet to come back instead there’s an old lady I see on the doorbell camera slowly putting the rubbish out can that really be me I think

It’s wonderful for little children but then as years pass it can be a time to dread for many the cost and relatives they would rather not spend the day with. We just have a quiet day roast meal exchange gifts and then relax

I sympathise. That happened to me on Friday a new one unopened dated 13th but off. No milk for Lorna’s tea

My Mother would put a brooch on a coat or dress then sew it to the fabric with a couple of stitches if it came open it didn’t fall. I definitely keep too many things I love but never wear
