According to a legislator, CVS allegedly utilized patient data to create the false impression that patients were contacting legislators regarding legislation aimed at preventing insurance company PBMs from owning pharmacies. It seems patients were unaware of CVS's use of their data in this manner.

My son's nurse sent me this message today. No, I've never heard of Bioplus "Specialty" #Pharmacy. I never asked them to fill my son's #medications or to contact my son's nurse and ask for refills.
Add BioPlus CarelonRx & AnthemBCBS to the list of integrated corporations that must be broken up.

Mail order pharmacy is NOT a replacement for America's local #pharmacy access. Allowing the insurance company's pharmacy benefit managers to force to their own mail order pharmacies and reimburse competitors below costs to the point of closure is hurting Americans as the stop taking medications.

Would you allow for your child's medications to be placed in this in a flimsy bag? As you open the package of room temperature medications and read the temperature guidelines, there are strict instructions of "Do not freeze." What if you are forced to as the only option of coverage?

What would be really great right now would be for the #employers and the president to recognize and confirm they have heard the frustration that America has with this broken #healthcare system. It would be great to be recognized that #patients have already tried these avenues mentioned below.

This is my son, who is at the 💚 of my advocacy. We need the public to learn more about the injustice of patients being forced to mail order pharmacies owned by insurance companies, not because it's safer or affordable, but for drug price distortions. Patients like my son are just siphon for profits.
