7/ Which tools do I use when creating a new app?
- Cursor with Claude 3.7 for bootstrapping features
- My NextJS Starter Kit (coming soon) for having the basic features already implemented so I can concentrate on the product

What do you think about AI assistants? Which tools do you use?

6/ Funniest thing I hear: "Reviewing AI code takes longer than writing it myself!" Tell me you don't value code review without telling me. Reviewing other people's code is a skill worth building - AI or human.

5/ Some tricks I've found helpful: Different models have different strengths (Claude for JS/TS, GPT for Python in my experience). Showing examples helps a ton. And yeah, boring tech stacks = better results.

4/ Don't be fooled by how polished AI code looks. Great variable names, clean comments, perfect indentation - it all tricks your brain into thinking "this must work!" Always verify. Always test. Trust but verify is the name of the game.

3/ Most modern AI coding assistants will even fix their own mistakes when shown the errors. The loop of write → run → fix is getting really smooth. If you're not even testing the code you're asking for... what are you doing?

2/ I see devs dismissing AI coding tools because "they make up methods that don't exist." But that's giving up way too early! Run the code and the error shows up instantly. Unlike prose hallucinations where spotting the BS requires actual expertise.

I think workout is the best option. What works as well for me is taking a walk outside or meditate for a few minutes. I think what's most important is that you don't use your phone.
I also like drinking a glass of water with juice of half a lemon and a little bit of salt. Its crazy refreshing

Hmm thanks and what do you think about products which you can download like repos? So there is nothing to do when logged in besides checking your purchases?

Still login first?

Building my own right now for myself with a lot of stuff and gdpr friendly and wondering if it’s probably useful for others.

One time payments are a lot easier to sell. Don’t set yourself to hard on subscriptions for your product. Even if you have one time payment you can create a steady income with a good product
