"Those who study music should be concerned about the loss of cultural diversity for the same reason that biologists worry about the loss of biodiversity: we don't yet know what the loss will mean, but we do know that the loss will be irreversible."

The relationship between social media and democracy is complex but important and there is a lot of debate.

For coordination, I wanted to gauge the community with a discussion thread about what, in my view, we do know and the ones we do not know (yet), please add your thoughts and/or disagree: 1/n

AI tools are fascinating but fell short when I tried creating a logo for my project. Science Graphic Design (www.sciencegraphicdesign.com) brought ideas to life—earbuds for modern music listening, a magnifying glass for auditing. Their input was invaluable. Sometimes, AI isn’t enough. Kudos to them!

Traveling to Milan from Rome by train for participating to LINECHECK2024 (www.linecheck.it). I cannot but recall the comfort and pleasure of traveling with train in Japan: no noisy people, no people talking, no people watching videos at high volume... I'll miss that.
