Okay, I haven't really posted anything since I went to Japan. Before I start posting some cool pics, here's a Mario Kart World clip I took. I've been enjoying the game with my Dad. It's one of the few games we play together, and I love seeing him enjoy the free roaming. #MarioKartWorld

I had a great time at #WasabiCon with my friends! We had some fun demos, offered tea and snacks like we would have on Sundays, and met so many wonderful people!

While eight is a more robust representation of the series, nine saved my life. Coming out at the peak of my fight with Ulcerative Colitis, this game and its wealth of content connected me with so many in my most challenging time. Plus, each town story was well told, making the journey grand!

While I understand the game was a mess regarding balance, this is still one of my favorite strategy games. It was great to see the characters from the first two a little more grown up, and the tag powers and the split fronts for the maps led to some enjoyable moments!

Even with the hand cramps!? Yes! This game was the Star Fox formula perfected. The characters were fun and well-acted; it introduced many fun things to the world, like the different factions and a ton of fun weapon types with a ton of content. Hades is one of Nintendo's best!

Ah, my first step into the fantastic Yakuza (now Like a Dragon) series. I picked this up on a whim when I saw it on sale, and WOW, was I blown away! The multiple characters with focused stories, the core plot's seriousness, the side stories' wackiness, and satisfying heat actions in combat!

One of the best open-world games set in Japan. Ghost of Tsushima was one of those particular games, the type where I got the platinum trophy just by playing because I wanted to do everything anyway. I liked the side stories, sweet vistas, fun combat and stealth options, and just exploring!

What is a recency bias!? Unicorn Overlord is one of my favorite games this year and a must-play for any strategy RPG fan. The characters are great, the battles and formations allow for so much creativity, and I love how you free and build up the country throughout the game! The animations, too!
