I guess by now I should be done being surprised that Nazis figured of the most perfectly evil way to weaponize claims of antisemitism
I'm Jewish and I think about antisemitism all the time. I can't tell you how fucking weird it is that Homeland Security posting literal neo-Nazi propaganda generates less discussion about the threat to Jews than a mayoral candidate who believes Palestinians are human beings.
DHS is recruiting using a not-so-subtle reference to a 1978 book from white nationalist William Gayley Simpson, Which Way Western Man?

Simpson's book was released under an imprint associated with the National Alliance, founded by Turner Diaries author William Luther Pierce.

This is why it is important to lean on the Republicans too. Every member of Congress should be catching pure hell about what is happening right now. And the governors of every state. A foot on all of their necks, because that's all they understand.
Would be nice if congress could remember it is illegal for the president to unilaterally impose tariffs

I hope everyone is keeping an eye on the most important race of the year in Wisconsin. Elon Musk is.

Democrats won the last state supreme court race big. And Musk can flip this with the $10 million he's dumped in so far, pretty much nothing he can't do.

There is a belief in MAGAland that the private sector will just fund this stuff. For example, Sean Hannity said that “most of the solutions for cancer are going to be found in the private sector, not with public money.”
But thats simply not true.

The carefully managed water systems in California's Central Valley saw a sudden deluge after the Army Corps of Engineers unexpectedly released reservoir water.
