Lan Zhan felt the corner of his lips tug upward, feeling as if something particularly funny had just occurred, his insides ticklish, before he instantly schooled his expression. “Now Wei Ying.” Lan Zhan took hold of Wei Ying’s chin, his thumb pressing harshly down. He is taking something away from Wei Ying — he shouldn’t be too mean. Why not give him a consolidation prize? “Kiss me how you would those girls of yours.”

LWJ doesn't want to play the hypno game anymore. WWX just announced he's going on a date. Related? Who knows.
He’s teasing. Lan Zhan never calls last minute, all the plans he makes are planned. The most ‘last minute’ plans he makes are a week in advance. Wei Ying however... Lan Zhan rolled his eyes inwardly in exasperation. He turned his back to Wei Ying again, his ‘focus’ back to his work. “I need to keep my attention this weekend on Ling Fan.” Lan Zhan tensed at those words. What? He shouldn’t be surprised; Wei Ying is good-looking, charming. He goes on plenty of dates with many sexcapade that he loves to share in excruciating detail to Lan Zhan later. This was a name of the latest conquest Wei Ying has been speaking fondly of. “She asked to hangout this weekend, so you won’t be hearing from me the whole~ day. Guess you’ll get a break from me, eh?” He chuckled.

“Stand on one leg until I tell you to put it down.” One leg lifts up into the air, hand still loose in Lan Zhan's. Wei Ying holds the pose, but after a while, he begins to tilt as he loses his balance. He begins to fall with no indication of attempting to catch himself. Lan Zhan lets him, but at the last second, he catches his shoulders and rights Wei Ying up. His body feels like lead. “You may put your leg down," Lan Zhan says and Wei Ying does. Lan Zhan's jaw sets, patiences dwindling. An idea pops into his mind. “Wei Ying,” Lan Zhan said. He hesitates. It felt like a long, lingering pause. Then, “bark like a dog.”

Update: in working on the hypno fic. Feeling a little corny 😅
“When I snap my fingers, you will open your eyes and follow any order, any command I say. You will only wake when I say, “wake up"." At that, Lan Zhan snapped his fingers; he still felt incredibly silly doing all this. At the sound of the snap, Wei Ying’s eyes snapped open, that blank stare now set in his features. Lan Zhan crossed his arms as he leaned back in his chair, staring down at Wei Ying. He was lying, Lan Zhan knew he was lying, it wasn't possible for this to be true, and he was going to prove it.

Lan Zhan couldn't believe it. Raising his hand, he moved it up and down in front of Wei Ying’s face, watching for a reaction. He calmly lowered his arms before clapping them, hard and fast, in front of Wei Ying's face, the sound quite shocking in the quiet room. No reaction. Wei Ying's face remained neutral, almost rivaling Lan Zhan's own expression. The only movement were his involuntary blinks from the air puffed onto his face.

Lan Zhan stared at the ridiculous man in front of him, Wei Ying giving him a pleading look to play along with his game. He wonders not for the first time why he allows Wei Ying to come into his home. All he knows how to do is be a nuisance while Lan Zhan is busy trying to create his lesson plan and grade his students' papers. Lan Zhan huffs, annoyed, as he pushes himself away from his desk. “Fine. Sit up.”

Lan Zhan listened to his breathing, the pulsing heartbeat in his ears, focused on only the sounds coming from outside, what was in there with him did not matter. Yet it felt like the moans were growing louder and time kept stretching further with no end in sight. No one would come; in the end, he would wither away in the dark, alone, until he too was part of the mausoleum.

Before he left though, Wei Ying gave Lan Zhan an odd look. He leaned forward, his face coming incredibly close. So close, Lan Zhan had the insane thought that Wei Ying was going to kiss him. It’s too soon! He needed to push him away. Lan Zhan closed his eyes. After a few seconds passed, he realized nothing happened. He opened his eyes to find Wei Ying holding a giant beetle by its shell in front of Lan Zhan’s face, the legs waving in the air. “You had this on your shoulder.”
