Maybe check your advanced moderation settings down at the bottom here? I remember seeing folks talk about it being automatically turned on and it moderates things it deems "intolerant" or even just "annoying". What it considers these things is vague at best, so it just hides random posts afaik. 🥴

Intervention

So I'm going to be away from home for a month from next week, which means no perceiving the lizard again until mid-January. A part of me latched onto the idea of a "lore complaint" reason she'd be gone, then this idea set in 2.3 came to mind.

Lkhagvasuren arrives late to a meeting, doing a very poor job of covering up that she was likely involved in less than safe for work proclivities to mention in the company of the Scions' leadership. As Lkhagvasuren turns around however, something makes her pause. Awkwardly taken aback, Lkhagvasuren realizes there is a large crowd of people in the room. More than just A'zimzizi and Minfilia, but also most of the main Scions, her friends, and the adventurers she most often works with. Uncertainly, Lkhagvasuren asks what's going on.

This was kind of decided a bit off the cuff, and I've never really hosted anything before, but since I'm going to be away from home for a month and will miss most of the traditional starlight shenanigans with the moots and friends, I figured why not have a get-together the day before I fly out.

Lkhagvasuren's partaken of various substances in the past, usually in experiments to curb or mitigate her nightmares or inability to sleep. However, she's had bad experiences and already struggles with addictions, which puts her off being a regular user of anything more than nicotine and alcohol

Among the crowd of onlookers observing M'jong's games is Monh the Bard, who asks M'jong what she actually does with all her money from winning Mahjong tournaments and doing jobs for the Adventurer's Guild. M'jong's response is non-descript enough that it sounds like she's the finacial backer for a niece working with orphaned Ala Mhigan refugee children. The "orphans" in question are revealed to be Helinda Wyght and J'tchakha Shikhu, who along with M'jong's niece M'naago, have used her funds to carry out a resistance attack on a Garlean patrol and their magitek.

Lkhagvasuren sits on a rock by a river in western hills of the Fringes in Gyr Abania. Her head is bowed, as she hides her face in her knees and quietly wrings her hands. "Mirroring" her on the opposite side of the river, is a memory of herself holding Monkhtuya, while watching Sarantsatsral fishing. Lkhagvasuren's "I should have been stronger..." moment is losing Monkhtuya. Her parents, there's not much she could have done about. Prodigious as she was, she wasn't ready to fight opponents out for the kill, and someone had to carry Monkhtuya. After she's told to run by Sarantsatsral however... "What if I'd been faster, and not been seen?" "What if I'd been more agile, and lost them in the woods?" "What if I'd been more nimble, and climbed somewhere they could not pass or reach?" "What if I'd been smarter, and managed to convince them we weren't Dravanians?" "What if I'd been braver, and just taken the blow?" "What if I'd been stronger, and swam harder?" "What if I'd been better, and just held on to her...."
