We’re putting together a writing group meetup so you can learn how to make a loom, noodle around, share work, and find other ppl who care about dramatic irony as deeply as you do.

We’ll put together some writing group sessions soon, but for now we’re just excited to say it’s alive! We’ve been eager to share it since our initial view-only release earlier this year.

They’re limited to 10 cards for now, but we’ll expand to unlimited soon. You’ll keep track of your setups/tension/invisible questions/mysteries/transformations across any number of chapters or episodes 🤯

Here’s a loom I created with Loomanka. There’s an interactive version in the Loomanka library but in case you prefer to squint: the first card is a setup, all of the middle cards are raised stakes, and the last card is a payoff.

Showrunners, screenwriters, directors: Loomanka is a new tool that shows the setup/payoff structure of your entire story in one (interactive) image.
