The Be Sharps only lasted a short time, but they had at least one nationwide tour, they won a Grammy, and they performed for Ronald Reagan. The royalties from that are certainly not nothing. I really think it would be enough to sustain Homer Simpson for life, freeing him to do his many shenanigans.

And, despite many episodes stating that the Simpsons have money troubles, I don't recall actually seeing them destitute. Even at their most destitute, the Simpson family could pay for food, clothing, and shelter. It would REALLY make sense that their main source of income is from Be Sharps music!

No, the Be Sharps weren't world-famous, but they were quite famous within Springfield. It would make a lot of sense that Springfield, a city with many traditions, proudly plays the Be Sharps' music on the radio every once in a while. (thread)

My fan theory explains A LOT. It explains why Homer seemingly takes endless time off work to chase wild new careers, such as astronaut, monorail conductor, country music producer, snow plow driver, etc. It explains why Homer gets fired over and over again but still seemingly has income. (thread)

Only when I repeatedly referred to Fight Club as "the new movie starring the kid who played John Connor" did I realize Edward Furlong is not Edward Norton. My friends and family were simply CONFUSED about what the devil I was talking about this whole time. (4 of 4)

I only vaguely knew John Connor was played by "Edward Something," and, well, Edward Norton is certainly an Edward Something. I didn't really pay attention to Edward Norton/Furlong until Fight Club, and I got CONFUSED why his most-famous movie, T2, wasn't listed on IMDB. (3 of 3)

T2 was 1991, Primal Fear was 1996, and I didn't even question it. I immediately assumed this was the John Connor actor. Of course he looks a little different, because I haven't seen him in any movies for 5 years. I thought maybe he finished high school and then resumed his acting career. (2 of 3)

Until I watched X-Men 1, when I thought these were the same person, I thought Titanic was the most-famous movie he had been in (until X-Men 1), and, again, I was just CONFUSED why his most-famous role prior to this just wasn't in Ian McKellen's IMDB page. (2 of 2)

And then, boom, with Coruscant gone and Palpatine dead, we now have Emperor Vader, who just showed the galaxy what he’s capable of. Yeah, Vader should have killed Palpatine immediately after blowing up Alderaan as proof that the Death Star actually works.

I talked to the manager but (sigh) he didn't take action. I shushed the talkers a few times, but that didn't work. The talkers outnumbered the silent moviegoers. I had no allies. They kept talking like they owned the place, even though I'm a shareholder and *I* own the place more than they do (2/2)
