Drove through west of the Netherlands a while ago and found the definition of "the american brain cannot comprehend this"
Huge, complex roundabout in western part of the Netherlands near route N222 with essentially a separate road per each direction, with bike lanes crossing under it.

Sometimes I like looking at Poland on Google Maps from up high enough to see just the highways, and trace all the roads that were never fully turned into a proper highway, with only small "highway" sections here and there.
A map of western region of Poland showing only the highways, with short highway sections sprinkled around here and there between Poland's major highways. Those are roads which were only partially turned to highways, with the rest of them left untouched, resulting in seemingly random bits of highways leading from/to nowhere.
