I've had my eyes on this one for a while as well. Excellent choice!

Alas, no. SoCal based.

And it's worth another visit!

And for those keen-eyed observers, this map design is inspired by a recent trip to the amazing Chicago Field Museum and its beautifully minimal yet bold visual identity.

This is a supplement to the story we've been telling for the past several months as we run through nearly all of the adventures in Mausritter's "The Estate" Boxset.

Shoutout again to @torthevic.bsky.social and @losing.games for their awesome games.

The ONLY things I wish - and if this is user error let me know - is that it:

1. Kept the token state of maps so I can switch between them. Useful for if the players split the Crew.

And 2. Was easier to send custom items to PCs.

And thank you to @explorersdesign.bsky.social for the shoutout at the end. Unexpected but welcome!

Best kept secret of the TTRPG blogosphere. Haha.

Blot.im is cheap, works with your existing file sharing service, and has easy to use pre-made templates!

It's one of the things I really appreciate about the tabletop gaming space is that there is a strong stance from both creators AND consumers against genAI.

But, the sessions and presentations by many of the designers and creators were great. Several of which denounced AI as part of their talk (which I suspect will affect future invitations).

Last things I'll add.

The main conference area/floor felt a tad small with little to do if you had large gaps between sessions. Also too many tech companies in booths and not enough studios or agencies or whatever.

Definitely agree.

BUT! I do think there's going to be a line drawn soon for a lot of people that have a respect for craft and will seek out human-made art just to spite the alternative.
