As this fantastic Wimbledon fortnight heads towards its climax, there's still plenty to celebrate thanks to the work of Wimbledon Foundation. Here's 2 examples of local community organisations receiving vital funding to support the hardest to reach young people & to champion acceptance for everyone.

Community gardens and allotments can become transformational social hubs with the effort of local people and the right funding. Projects like Lamlash Street Allotment Society (supported by Elephant & Castle Community Fund) are strengthening London's communities. #NationalGardeningWeek

#WorldHealthDay this year focuses on the health/wellbeing of mothers & babies. We're proud to support a whole host of community based organisations looking after the physical & mental health of mothers & their children, including MumsAid serving families in #GreenwichPeninsula.

All the women on our programmes now report an increase in financial resilience; they are able to save money and reduce debt by making and mending clothes for their families.
