Sweeping sheets of rain; the clouds teased apart like carding wool. A fleeting visit to the Quay before catching early London train. Never disappointed. The codwallop slap of waves magnified by same Northerly as yesterday. Sounds like the gurgling churn of an old top loading washing machine.

Even the waves have waves today! Serrated edges. The push and pull of a muscular tide coupled with a strong westerly gives a fabulous variety of textures. The wooden tenders are clustered like barnacles on the foreshore seeking protection from what’s to come #sunrise #suffulk #dawndiaries
