Montana Democrats want to require priests to report confessions of child abuse
If you care about children, this is a straightforward, common sense bill. No wonder religious conservatives oppose it.

SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

I wasn't. You were wrong. You can make up for your foolishness by joining the resistance and trying to rescue our country from the fascists.

Just in case people don’t fully grasp it. The pardoning of insurrectionists is Trump’s way of building loyalty from militias and domestic terrorists to carry out unofficial acts for him

Before the 2020 protests in my city I truly admired police and their work, while knowing some (especially those in small southern towns) were rotten.

After watching their behavior night after night for 3 months I’m, shall we say, less than enthusiastic.

Somewhere between 😒 and 😡.
Investigations of Portland police supervisors who oversaw improper use of force by officers during 2020 protests in the city have been open for far too long and haven’t been as broad as they should be, a U.S. Department of Justice lawyer told a judge Tuesday.

The city’s Independent Police Review office initiated four investigations that have been open for 923 days -- far beyond the required 180 days of completion, the federal Justice Department lawyer said.

So, you may ask, why do I get so angry about the new liberal spin on RFK Jr, as in, "he gets some things right, so let's collaborate on those" or "we have to work with him because he has a huge following we need to reach"? Because I've seen this movie before. 1/

You know who claimed that Bonhoeffer was involved in the failed assassination plot against Hitler?

The Nazis.

There was—and is—zero actual evidence of this to this day.

It isn’t surprising to me that Christian Nationalists believe the Nazis.

It’s what they do.
