In honor of #cosplaytutorialchallenge, I am going to be making a text thread of how I make my makeup last for all con! I personally tend to commute to cons, so I do not have the ability to go to my hotel room and touch up makeup. Instead, I make sure that my makeup is secure for the day!

Do you frequently hear misconceptions about cosplay? I think talking about this helps welcome people into the hobby who may be discouraged and also helps people who may feel pressured to leave something they love and enjoy stay connected.

Remember: not placing in a cosplay contest doesn't mean you lost. You didn't place. Framing it as winners and losers is not a healthy mindset to have in this kind of competition.
