Sadly, my distinguished Senator is probably in a panicked damage control meeting now trying to figure out how he can make it clear that he actually despises Palestinians without giving AOC more ammo for his ‘28 primary.

My problem with NYT for the last decade is its national politics beat reporting. It’s like they’re unaware that their paper does deep investigations reporting on their beat (even when they share the byline) that could provide the vital context their readers need to make informed political choices.
NYT did extraordinary long-form investigative reporting on the threat of Trump. But their political beat reporters ignored that on a daily basis and focused on horse-race, opinion polling, and the scandal of the day, completely undermining warnings with business as usual headlines and articles.

Everything old is new again. Of course, she came up through Western New York, the only place in NY more corrupt than NYC.

Woke 2 was the worst in the series. I miss original trilogy, “Politically Correct 1-3”

Especially when over a dozen women had already accused Trump of sexual impropriety at that point and Trump had already provided creepy quotes about his relationship with Epstein. It’s not like these emails exist in a vacuum!

“Governor of New York City”? I don’t put any level of stupidity past him, but I’m thinking this is fake.

It’s even a problem in the NYC suburbs. Red lights and four-way stops where people don’t even slow down. I grew up in Tennessee and for the first time in my almost 50 years I miss Tennessee drivers.

I think he would’ve been an excellent Supreme Court Justice, which is part of the reason he was a lousy AG. Too deliberate, too cautious at a time when bold action was necessary.

And so many anti-progressive liberals on the left side of the aisle that will attack Democrats rather than Republicans.

Whoa whoa. Try not to get worried, ok? Try not to turn on to troubles that upset you, my man.

Came here to say this - glad you said it better than I could’ve.

I think you’re underestimating the role elites may play in bringing down Trump. This isn’t laudatory, I suspect many of them are chafing under his boot, resentful of his willingness to play favorites and eagerly anticipating a point at which they’ll be able to grease new wheels and reassert control.

Compounding how different it would’ve been if the Supreme Court hadn’t intervened to hand the presidency to GWB in 2000.

Well, partly because of Germany. Because Germany, as a leader of Europe, repeatedly failed to contain Russia or help shore up NATO’s eastern border.
