Yes, I’m not having much luck. The head of the pastoral care department at the hospital where I worked is working hard at integrating chaplains into the care team, and they still laid off a chaplain last year.

I think there are. I did a Clinical Pastoral Education chaplain residency this year and the hospital worked with a hospice. I’m now volunteering for that hospice. Any hospice that gets federal funding has to have chaplains. The patient doesn’t have to accept hospice care, but it has to be offered.

Ugh. I need to research that. I’m looking to perhaps be a hospice chaplain and want to avoid that one.
