As a member of the LGBT community AND a retired veteran, I have no issue with a US Navy ship being named for a champion of the community. The US military has been replete with LGBT people serving silently and sometimes even under concealment. Representation matters.

It's one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. We thought about going down there today but wanted to give them space. I'm so glad to see folks calling out ICE to their masked faces.
