I took over my mother's Christmas cactus when she died. She'd had it for years, and it had never bloomed. It bloomed the first Christmas after she died, then again on her birthday, and again on Mother's Day. Kept to the same pattern every year, rockin' "Feed Me Seymour" vibes in it's own little way.

I have had some spectacular house-made "ketchups." And I hate Heinz and any other ketchup sold in stores. Those are just high fructose corn syrup, canned tomatoes, and tooooo much sodium. If it's sad and soupy, they aren't making it right.
