44, final semester for a B.S. in Organismal, Ecological, Evolutionary Biology. My GPA has been my life. Tired though and near the end. Hard to keep up the pressure I put on myself anymore so slacking off a little.

If you find that your uninformed personal opinion disagrees with expert consensus on a technical topic, please consider that “all the experts know something I don’t” is a much more likely explanation than “I alone solved a complex problem that all the world’s experts have long been studying.”

I want social media that requires sources to be included and opinion pieces to be clearly marked. Medical advice should require one to list credentials on posts. Must be included or posts can’t be published. It would help limit misinfo, not expression.

Biology question for the smart people. Saw a video of 2 single celled organisms. 1 consuming the other— sucking out the fluids. The one being consumed seems 2 b trying to get away. Is it a type of chemotaxis that causes it to try and escape?
