Still can’t beat my mom’s worst one: the propane tank at the house ran out, so no stove or oven (and 12 folks coming over).

Set the oven to 325. Put the bird in. Checked on it an hour later. Turned the oven ON.

Thanksgiving years ago at my mom’s … one of the cats would *not* stay off the table. Til his tail caught fire from a candle. (He was fine, but set a land speed record.)
