Previous owners planted snowbells and we are having them come up now. Seems early for bulbs but I guess not. We only bought this place 6 months ago so I was excited to get a 5 star rating already.

a month or two ago a twitch streamer I love (the_windbag) found a drawing I did of them, approached me for use of it, made it their pfp, someone on their discord turned it into a cookie cutter, and they sent me the file so I had one printed out too. a success.

We scheduled our trip to South Korea intentionally to try to miss the cherry blossoms to consequently miss the crowds but we still got to see a lot. They are beautiful and I’m glad we didn’t miss the entirely.

We are in Mapo-gu, there are loads of flower pots on the side of the road that are freshly planted with a variety of flowers to celebrate spring. An unthinkable concept in our home city for a few reasons, mainly because they would be picked clean by morning

Last Friday I went to dinner at one of those kinds of places where they hire nationals from the country whose food they’re serving, in this case it was Italian. There were many miscommunications, and I spent a lot of time sneaking bad photos of the nice view, but it was nice to be out with friends.
