I love the scent of the flowers in the depths of winter. I saw a tree at Aberglasney Gardens in February and the scent filled the air around each little flower.

Pouring with rain since last night here. Plants will enjoy yet another day of rain. Everything is liking the warmth and steady supply of rainwater.

On a school exchange in France, the host family took me to see One Flew Over A Cuckoo's Nest. No subtitles and my school level French was not good enough to keep up. It was years before I watched it in English, I didn't want to ruin the story I'd made up in my teenage head!

Clear blue skies here in West Wales and already blissfully warm. I'm pottering in the semi-shaded back garden today, creating another new bed to fill with white and cream flowers.
