I’m a big fan of classics and this card was one of the biggest reasons I kept my Historic Kroxa deck Grixis over pure Rakdos (the other big reasons was Mouth of Sauron and cantrips)
7th edition force spike, counter target spell unless its controller pays 1 for 1 blue mana, the art depicts a magic wielder of some sort shooting psychic laser beams out of their eyes while the other magic wielder in the art creates a psychic barrier to block the laser

Okay, precondition for this: Leech Bonder has no -1/-1 counters on it and all 3 pieces are together on the field.
Activate Jiang Yanggu, placing a +1/+1 counter on Leech Bonder (really 2), tap Leech Bonder to add a blue, and use that blue to untap itself, moving a +1/+1 counter on Kami.
Jiang Yanggu, an uncommon planeswalker from War of the Spark who turns all creatures you control with a +1/+1 counter into a birds of paradise and tap for a color of any mana Kami of Whispered Hopes, a March of the Machines uncommon that puts an additional +1/+1 counter on any permanent that gets +1/+1 counters Leech Bonder, an uncommon from Lorwynn that comes into play with 2 -1/-1 counters on it. For 1 blue mana and untapping it you can move a counter from target creature onto another one

Is this optimal in a Narset EDH list? No. Creatures that do almost nothing to actually advance the game plan beyond being a lil goober that sits around. Am I ever taking them out? Absolutely not.
Electrostatic field, when you cast an instant or sorcery, Electrostatic Field deals 1 damage to each opponent, 0/4 defender for 1R Gelectrode, a silly lil guy who is an 0/1 for 1UR with the ability to tap to deal 1 damage to target creature or player (since errated to any target) and when you play an instant or sorcery, you can untap him

I’ve been thinking about it and I think Small World might be the perfect Yugioh card, it influences deck building decisions, gives some really neat ways to utilize cards that might not be as good in the matchup (Maxx C vs. Floo in MD) and it’s such a shakeup from how we view cards, I love it

The Magic the Gathering card “Reckless Scholar” it has 2 power, 1 toughness for 2 generic and 1 blue mana. It is a human wizard with the ability to tap for target player to draw a card then discard a card. The art depicts a man yelling next to what appears to be a telescope. Combined with the flavor text, “Progress comes at a price” and being set on the plane of Innistrad, his exact efforts are shrouded in mystery but we can assume it’s probably pretty messed up, because like the best thing you can get on Innistrad is buried after a first death
