Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil.

30+ years ago, the center block was made. A friend added the applique and I added more blocks to complete the top. It was called Trail Ride. It waited until this year to be finished in time for the 50th Anniversary of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show! Second Sat. In July !

The rule of law must stand to ensure our future. This is not the way an Attorney General speaks. This is how a puppet repeats a phrase in order to win approval from the puppet master with tiny hands.
