The owners of this local shopping centre (regd office Brit Virgin Islands) de-flowered the flower-beds, and then de-treed them so the scores of cheery pied wagtails no longer had a place to roost.
Now these mysterious plastic monoliths have appeared instead 😒

I don't know about this. If it's a toss up between leaving Bluesky and UK-govt hoop-jumping, I know what I'll do. It's annoying: I just keep seeing images of Theresa May, with those Nosferatu fingers.

This cartoon's popping up everywhere and most aptly. This morning I got the reply to the recent petition opposing the #OnlineSafetyAct, from the UK branch of whatever rules us now, saying they ain't turning back for no-one, and we'd all better watch out. (They chose the 'protect kids' wrapping)

It reminds me of 'The Big Apple' in Wales, UK. It's not transport infrastructure but an ice-cream kiosk.
