I believe that this movement has finally succeeded in becoming mainstream with the help of the Heritage Foundation and other in our govt like Pete Hegseth—a disciple of Doug Wilson— Mike Johnson, MTG, and the most religiously conservative US Supreme Court in Am. history.

Who gets to arbitrate God’s will, doling out violent, archaic punishments for disobedience? A select group of white men at the top of the stack.

They made themselves the self-appointed mouthpieces of a silent, absent, and abusive God.

Van Til developed “presuppositional apologetics,” as in, the only trustworthy knowledge comes directly from God, i.e. the Protestant bible as interpreted by John Calvin.

Theirs is an interpretative authoritarianism. Which, no surprise, has political implications.

They want to take over the American govt + turn the OT Mosaic Law into policy (including its violent and archaic justice system).

The tenets of the fringe movement known as Christian Reconstructionism are simple: Every inch of the galaxy belongs to the Christian God, and God’s followers must bring about God’s political rule by any means possible, including force and stealth.
