The @dfg.de has approved the establishment of the research training group RTG 3123 “BioBuild – Bio-inspired Materials and Systems. It is one of two new RTGs at @uni-freiburg.de. The RTG focuses on bio-inspired building envelopes that react flexibly to weather & light conditions.

#livMatS-PI Stefan Glunz has been awarded an #ERCSynergyGrant. Glunz and his partners receive €10 million in funding for a project that aims to rethink the modern #SolarCell and to develop a new generation of resource-efficient #photovoltaic technologies. Congratulations!
