💜 Closing Session 💜 with Erik and Nathalie featuring Frances Xu The final session of The Way of the Mystic weekend began with a deep and honest conversation between Nathalie, Erik, and Jiska. They explored the week’s theme, “The Power of Decision is My Own,” reflecting on how our true responsibility is choosing the state of mind we want to hold, rather than trying to control outcomes in the world. Their personal sharings, along with three teaching clips from Frances Xu, showed how Frances’ words touched each of them and stayed with them in a meaningful way. They emphasized that our wrong-minded thoughts can be shifted, that peace comes when we focus on what is actually within our ability to change, and that trust is essential on this path. Remembering that we’ve already said “yes” to Spirit—and that we can step back and let healing unfold—was very precious indeed. After this reflective start, the session naturally moved into a spirit of joy and celebration. 💜 Movie Session: The Power of Decision is My Own 💜 Our weekend movie, Transcendence, gave us a powerful doorway into the ACIM theme that The Power of Decision is my Own. David opened the session by showing how the film’s story centers on Will, a brilliant AI researcher who wants to understand the world, and Evelyn, his wife, who has a heartfelt prayer for the world. The other characters, driven by fear, skepticism, or loyalty, reveal how doubt breaks communication and how fear breeds the belief in sickness, danger, and loss. With David’s commentary, the movie becomes a clear teaching on how the Holy Spirit can use absolutely anything for awakening. Rather than focusing on AI as a threat, we’re invited to look at the mind that projects fear onto what it doesn’t understand. Jesus’ question echoes throughout: If you don’t know your reality, why assume it is fearful? The film shows how we cling to limiting beliefs while mistrusting the very Love that would free us. Movie Session – “The World Will End in Laughter” ✨ In this session, with commentary from David, Marina, and Urpi, we watched a comedy to explore the central theme of how we perceive the world and what purpose we serve. We were reminded that, as Jesus says in *A Course in Miracles*, the world will end in laughter, and this film helped us approach that idea in a lighthearted yet deeply meaningful way. David invited us to consider that the world is a stage, a scripted play in which we all perform different roles. Suffering arises only from our interpretations, and we have two choices: to see with the ego—producing fear and guilt—or to see with the Holy Spirit, who reveals innocence and a happy world. Together we explored how, by recognizing that everything is part of a dream, we can stop judging, release the ego’s roles, and open to One Voice: the Holy Spirit, our Guide toward the healing of the mind. 💜 Opening Session - How Can I Live As If There Is No World?  💜 The opening session of The Way of the Mystic weekend invited us to the question, “How can I live as if there is no world?”  Course lesson 155, “I will step back and let Him lead the way,” is like a handbook for living, as if there is no world.” Helena read the lesson aloud as a meditative experience as Marina shared many insights. 💜 Closing Community Panel Session: Prayer is the Vehicle of Miracles 💜 In this profound and touching session, community members Jiska, Greg, Nicolas, Nathalie, Jessica, and Kristen shared from the heart their experience of living together with one shared purpose: to remain in a state of constant prayer, learning to listen to the Voice of God in every aspect of daily life. Through their sincerity and openness, they reminded us that community life is a space of honest communication, where every activity — from preparing a meal to caring for a pet — becomes an opportunity for healing and union. Two movie clips were reflected upon, beautifully illustrating the power of true prayer: 🎬 In “Bruce Almighty”, we witnessed how authentic prayer is born from the desire to give and to stop competing with God. 🎬 In “Evan Almighty”, we were reminded that when we pray for love, patience, or unity, God offers us the opportunity to experience them, not to receive them magically.

Erik y Susannah dieron inicio con la canción «Just Relax», que marcó el tono perfecto para soltar el miedo y así permitir que la vida se exprese de forma intuitiva. A partir de ahí, David, Jason y Kirsten —nuestros «expertos acerca de la intuición»— compartieron inspiradoras parábolas de sus propias vidas. A través de relatos sobre situaciones cotidianas —la compra de una casa, decisiones con dinero, encuentros con animales o relaciones inesperadas— mostraron cómo los problemas se disuelven al permitir que los hechos se desarrollen por sí mismos. Desde esa entrega, se convirtieron en verdaderos observadores de milagros. La sesión culminó con un hermoso relato de Kirsten, quien compartió cómo la creación de un cuadro de Jesús se transformó en una experiencia profunda de conexión interior. En el proceso, sintió la presencia amorosa y juguetona de Jesús, quien le reveló que la forma no tiene importancia, y que lo esencial es el propósito y la motivación detrás de todo lo que hacemos. Así, este encuentro nos recordó que vivir intuitivamente es volver al estado natural del ser: la confianza, la entrega y la inocencia de saber que estamos guiados en todo momento.
