Caught this sign out of the corner of my eye while on the bike today and I just saw the little figures, "slow," and "jug," and thought it was warning me about juggalos in the area. I thought those were little hatchet men. I had to turn around to check.

"We can x-ray."
"It didn't look like it broke off. It just jabbed me a little."
"Alright. If you say there's nothing in there, I'll trust you."
Post antibiotics, once all the swelling is gone...
"Oops. There's something in there."
Me: "Nah."

I've always been a Marvel guy, so I've only ever really gotten into a few DC characters. But one of the one I did like looks an awful lot like the killer from this movie. The Question. #TheLastDriveIn

Good Boy was great. I cried. I kept calling my cats and they ignored me the whole movie. Dicks. I squeezed in one more old fav, Night of the Demons (1988). My total for this year's challenge is 84. 63 of them were first time viewings. I need rest. Until next September 30th, happy Halloween. #rOHMC

The line-up for tonight so far: Trick 'r Treat (2007), Smile 2 (2024), and Good Boy (2025). I'm about 3 quarters through my annual Trick 'r Treat viewing. Good Boy is the one I'm looking forward to the most. I'm currently at 81 for my challenge, can I make it to 85 before the sun comes up? #rOHMC

The other half of tonight's Halloween viewing, both from this year, both from Stephen Cognetti, 825 Forest Road (2025) and, just added to Shudder today, Hell House LLC: Lineage (2025). It kind of bugs me that Lineage ISN'T found footage, like the first four movies in that franchise. #rOHMC

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) was not quite what I expected. Project Eerie (2023) was pretty bad, but it IS set on Halloween. Other was pretty good. Terrible title though, especially since it came out the same year as a movie called The Other. #rOHMC

I haven't read it in at least a decade or more, so I read The Monkey tonight and, perfectly, it's an October story, which I didn't even remember. And now I'm watching The Monkey (2025). #rOHMC

28 Years Later (2025): good, not as good as the first 2. A lot of that is that it didn't wrap up in a satisfying way. It's the 1st part of a trilogy, whatever. The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025): better than the worst of that series. The bit with the phone cord was good. I love haunted mirrors. #rOHMC

The Theme Party Massacre this weekend is The Twin Keystone Drive-In's 3 Hits to Make You Fear! Buio Omega (1979) aka Buried Alive, Cannibal Ferox (1981) aka Make Them Die Slowly!, and Zombie Holocaust (1980) aka Doctor Butcher M.D. So many akas. It's amazing how many titles these movies have. #rOHMC
