These pics are from 2022—taken in a castle in the Scottish Highlands. I was about 30k words into Sins of the Goddess and unsure what to do with it until I did this writer’s retreat.
I think I left some of Briar in this castle, and I feel like some of that castle is in his book too 💕

Briar is a secretive protagonist, untrusting of both of other characters and the reader too! It might take some time before he starts to warm up, but you’ll see the narrative style change too as he gets more comfortable!
