i wrote a short story that's partly about the weird unmoored grief you feel at the death of a loved one and partly about what happens when a forest is alive and loves you *very* much.

Dwór w Dziedzic means "Dziedzic Estate" Body: There’s still two weeks left of the mourning period for her brother when Katarzyna’s mother dies. The gaping space left behind by Gustaw has not healed, and now a new piece is carved out of her as they stop the clocks in her mother’s room. Her father, a stoic man by nature, is no longer someone she recognizes. He does not collapse and break down at the loss of his wife, but the door to his heart, already half-closed after Gustaw, slams shut in Katarzyna’s face. They float and dance around each other without speaking, because neither of them knows how to reach out first. The halls of Dwór w Dziedzic are haunted by both the living and the dead.

That's a weakness that could get anyone into trouble. Ken doesn't need the Force to be able to influence him — just the right play on his compassion. But then Motomiya surprises him by saying, "I think you look like a man who is willing to lie and betray people who were only trying to help him." His voice is flat, empty where Ken's had been full of fire, but just as painfully honest. "What do you even stand for, Inquisitor?" The title, which normally inspires a sense of vindictive pride, is spat at the force field separating them. Ken feels it land, feels it drop into the hollow space inside of him that usually holds the well of the Force.

Happy "almost Christmas means it wasn't Christmas"! We've got some witches by Panda atelier (pandatelier on IG) and a very pretty A5 6-ring binder! It's also the last of the CoraCrea Crafts!

Day 23, in which I went back to work after a week and fully forgot I didn't do this in the morning. Some superbly shaped cats and an astrology themed wooden stamp set!
A sheet of stickers of very simply drawn cats in various poses. There are cats sitting among plants, lounging on top of desks or on rugs, sticking their paws up in the air to play with something or flopped onto their back. Everything is done in very simple shapes and solid colors. A box with an open lid that has a star chart on the lid, with a decorative script reading "celestial wooden stamp set, 35 pcs". Inside are the backs of stamps. The too three rows are small square stamps of the astrological signs, various star designs with different numbers of points, crescent moons, and one small star chart. There are three narrow rectangular stamps, one with the phases of the moon, one that says "moon phases", and one of a star with some simplified cloud shapes. There are two large square stamps of sun ray/star burst designs, one of three concentric circles for a moon, and one of a sun with a face. One rectangle stamp says "look at the stars" in the same cursive as the box label. There are solid cloud designs, a crescent moon with a face, a decorative sun, and another crescent moon. One stamp of just two thin outlines of a rectangle. One stamp of the sun rotation on regards to the earth and the equinoxes/solstices

Day 22, before I have to go out all day. Propaganda for the Skeleton War, and some very lovely gold foil designs on vellum paper!

Day 21!! Some very pretty ladies with weapons by natrishy_art (on IG) and some sticker pages and vellum papers of elven ruins!

Day 20!! Oh we're getting close! Some delicious looking snacks by savenart and some decorative papers (there's the mirrored unicorns from the letter set, the owls from the packaging, a different set of owls, and florals) with some unicorn cut outs

The cherry blossom bun is in the shape of a bunny head, and the yolks in the fried eggs for one of the sandwiches are shaped like cat heads. A white unicorn cut out atop a stack of papers. Only the first paper is visible and it is a blue and brown bird among red and white flowers. The pattern is repeating and you can seea second bird peeking out from behind the unicorn.

Day 19, folks! Dogs galore by shunsukesateke and two sheets of wax seal stickers!

Day 17, i have the week off so it'll be weird times you get these. Some spring vibe party dogs by Jenny Miriam (jennymiriamillustration on ig) and some clear stamps designed to look like ancient coins. (Ah yes the ancient one penny from 1880)
Sticker sheet by Jenny Miriam. There are 8 different breeds of small dogs like a pug, Chihuahua, French bulldog, and a cavalier King Charles spaniel. Each of them is wearing a floral desin party hat. Several of them have floral painted balloons tied to their tails. Three of the dogs wear bandanas, two have capes, and the other three have bow ties. Empty space is filled with flower stickers. Everything is done in soft pastel pinks, blues, and yellows. A sheet of brown paper with black stamp designs to illustrate the stamps included. They are designed with sketchy and uneven lines to look like ancient coins from Rome and similar regions.

Day 16, less than 10 days left!! We got a sheet of very cute khokhloma style stickers and two sheets of decoupage rice paper! (There's a fire dragon not pictured lol)
Sticker sheet of various household items like tea cups, plates, pans, and a clock. All stickers are a black base with a gold foil outline. The items are all designed in simple bright colors in traditional Russian folk art design with flowers, birds, and roosters. A sheet of thin rice paper with illustrations made to mimic a naturalist's study of an ice dragon. Lower left corner is the dragon in full, all done in shades of blue and going to near white at the edges of its wings. There is a study on the top center of the page of the dragon from behind with its wings half spread, and the ridge of the spine down the tail. Lower right corner has the dragon head in profile, with long scaled horns on its head. There is also a blue flame and a blue sword with a blade that looks like crystal and emitting a blue frosty haze. Background is a beige with a white arcane type circle beneath the illustrations with various numbers and letters and a decorative cross, all done out of a rough pencil texture
