Came up with a new RPG in my dreams where I could see this translucent digital dashboard in the foreground of my vision where one of its sections showed how many powers you had collected and one of mine was emitting a flame from each fingertip so this cheese thing clearly does wonders for creativity

I discovered this episode yesterday and think I’ll need to return to it consistently as a reminder that there are people out there who think similarly to me when it comes to approaching work. Sometimes when immersed in an alpha environment it can *really* make you feel like you’re going mad.

Ultimately Eva’s conclusion is so on the nose: this reversion to past habits is about power and control. Fostering a working environment that is more about care, encouragement and ultimately trust is more likely to lead to innovation, creativity and productivity.

Getting people back into the office doesn’t necessarily improve “company culture” or “productivity” (often actually does the opposite) and I just find it so lazy that businesses see one company ask everyone to go back to the office 5 days a week and they all follow.

So many businesses (and artists/creators/talent) are under mounting pressure to promote themselves and their work so consistently with such little support or resource.

I can genuinely see how tools such as this could potentially fill a huge resource gap in terms of online communication.
