Ok so hear me out. We already know Crowley subconsciously shapes the world around himself by just assuming things work a certain way. What speaks against Aziraphale just assuming motel TVs still work like in the 90s and due to his nature the room he ends up renting does conform to his expectations ?

They are trapped in an algorithm of their own making, I don't think they have ever even set foot in the rest of the fandom in the first place.
