Today choose hope ~ live this day like an old country dog who was on death row but never gave up hope.
Once rescued, his foster dad took him to the beach and he ran like the wind with pure joy!
I hope Bixby will inspire you to keep going no matter the burdens you carry 💙🐾

Our dogs feel the stress perhaps even more than we do
They need to feel our inner peace so that they can relax
Just 20 minutes of daily meditation ~ or napping ~ with your pup will benefit you both 💙🐾

Curry chicken rice salad with dried cranberries (and scallions) along with fresh mango, grapes and pomegranate seeds.
Pomegranate seeds make me think of sparkling little gems!

He suffered cruel neglect and yet was the sweetest dog

Our volunteer arrived from the shelter after picking up 2 senior dogs on death row and bringing them to Charleston
When this pup popped out of the car, my rescue cohort and I both said "who's that???"
She was not the senior black Lab we had agreed to save
